Our lovely darlings are 7 weeks old and we’ve decided to nickname this litter after desserts as sweet as they are.

Red=Velvet (after red velvet cake), a sweet (and spicy) little flat coated girl.

Yellow= Mousse (as in Chocolate Mousse) our chonky chocolate boy with his adorable splashes of white on his chin and chest. SOLD

Lite Pink = Tim tam. With his pretty crinkled coat.

Dark Pink =Cupcake, as she is just a little cup of cuteness.

Lite green =Minty (for mint slice) a small and sweet flat coated boy with a tiny little white mark (almost a goatee) on his chin.

Dark green = Forest (as in Black forest cake). He’s a very cuddly boy already.

Purple =Pudding. he’s a rolley polley handful and the last of our lovely chocolate boys.

Orange= Custard, this jiggly girl is the largest of her sisters and loves to pounce on her older brothers.

Last (but not least) our little Blue collared girl = Bikky.

Our puppies turn 6 weeks old on the 31/12/25 and will be starting to receive visitors from this upcoming weekend.

Our Puppy Price is $5000 per puppy including gst. Each Puppy come complete with an extensive puppy pack, 2 months free pet insurance as well as a helpful Puppy training program to help guide the puppies and their new families from puppy hood through to young adulthood.

Now our Casacanines are even better!

After years of research, feedback and tweaking we are pleased to announce that we are launching our Casacanines Puppy program.

“One third of Dogs have a behavior issue.”Companion Animal psychology Study, November 29, 2023. https://www.companionanimalpsychology.com/2023/11/one-third-of-dogs-have-behaviour-issue.html

“Behavior problems degrade the human-animal bond, placing pets at risk of neglect, abuse, relinquishment and euthanasia”- Behavior veterinarian Dr Elle Parker owner of Pawly Understood consulting veterinary clinic Adelaide SA. from Vet practice magazine April 19, 2022. https://www.vetpracticemag.com.au/behavioural-issues-in-dogs/

Behaviors don’t appear in a vacuum, they always start somewhere usually as a coping mechanism or learnt response to a situation and is usually formed during a critical developmental period.

Understanding how crucial the first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life is to their continued health and happiness we designed our early developmental program (modeled after ones used by Guide dogs, Lions hearing dogs, Canine Assist and the International Working dog registry’s) to give our puppies the best chance at living a healthy, happy life with their new families. We are proud to say that due to our extensive training, socialization and positive exposure program none of our puppies( even those raised during Covid) went on to develop behavioral issues.

“Pandemic puppy owners still struggling with their dog’s behavior” Survey by the Guardian, January 23rd 2024. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2024/jan/22/pandemic-puppy-owners-still-struggling-with-their-dogs-behaviour-survey-shows

Unfortunately once our puppies leave our care they at the mercy of an unregulated dog training industry where negative training methods are still practiced and well meaning owners were being influenced away from listening to their dogs and working together. It would be (another) full time job keeping up to date with the different dog trainers in our state alone, ensuring they are maintaining a high standard of care and are properly teaching dog owners to read and interpret their dog’s body language (rather then just calling all unwanted behavior “bad”).

Instead we have spent the last 3 years learning from animal behaviorists and positive reinforcement and force free dog trainers to create a easy to follow program to help our puppy owners train their own dogs.

with our help you will learn how to feed, groom and care for your puppy, teach it(and your family) the crucial foundations of obedience training (sit, stay, leave it,come, loose leach walking, fetch, touch, give, drop, wait) as well as the foundational knowledge necessary to help them catch, shape and develop their dog’s natural behaviors in order to teach it a wide range of tasks and tricks.

We know that puppies go through very specific developmental phases in their lives (just like humans) and both their self confidence and long term psychological health is determined by how they are treated in each of these stages. Exposure training is more then just playing some noises or shoving puppies at different objects and claiming the are “socialized”. Just like human children, puppies learn quickly and form memories (both good and bad) very easily when they are young.

The right stimulation at the right time (and for the right amount of time) is crucial to forming lifelong positive associations rather then phobia’s. Just as a child first learns to crawl before they can run marathons a dog isn’t born knowing how to interact calmly with other dogs or people. it’s a behavior that is built, brick by brick, interaction by interaction, slowly and carefully over time.

So now along with their extensive puppy pack, each of our puppies comes with a detailed training and raising program that covers Diet, age appropriate exercise, grooming, Basic obedience, puppy phases such as teething and continued toilet and crate training, all the way through puberty and the second fear phase. From Puppyhood through their first exciting year and on into adulthood.

Whether you are looking for a puppy to train up as a medical assistance dog, an emotional support and therapy dog for a special needs family member, or just want loving, healthy family pet (who already comes crate and toilet trained) who is going to live a long full life (without worrying about hip displasia, torn crucial ligaments or preventable genetic diseases) with you then please consider making your next canine a Casacanine.

Choosing the right puppy for you

Prior to visitation we like to talk with prospective owners about their previous pet experiences and expectations to ensure that we pair the right dog with the right family. We strongly encourage any interested parties to spend some time researching the Curly Labradors (see our page and links) to ensure that it is going to be the right fit for their family and lifestyle.

Puppy buyers in South Australia are welcome to come and visit your puppy numerous times before you take them home so that you can both get familiar and comfortable with each other, we are a fully Covid-19 vaccinated household however we will require you to book in your puppy playdates so that we can comply with the health directives regarding gatherings.

We also require that visitors undergo farm bio containment procedures to prevent the chance of canine Parvovirus. This involves spray sterilizing your shoes before entry to the property and keeping all vehicles outside the property.

For interstate customers, we are happy to have weekly Zoom sessions so that you can interact with your puppy before they fly their way to you.
