These 12 stunning puppies were welcomed into the world between 8:42-11:42pm on Saturday 24, the remaining six pups were born between 12:45-7:40am-Australia day puppies!

This litter we had seven strapping young boys and five gorgeous golden girls.

All our puppies have exceptional health and are expected to live 14-18 years, due to their superior genetic health and early nutritional program that ensures excellent digestive and immune health with zero food allergies. Our puppies just finished their trait and personality tests (Volhard and Avidog) to assist us in placing the right puppy with the right home. We will be uploading their results soon so you can all get to know each of our darlings better.

Lovable Lumbering Leaf-

Leaf
This gorgeous golden flat coated boy (similar style as Poppy) is one of the sweetest and easygoing puppies we’ve ever had.
Happy to play, train, nap or cuddle-Leaf is up for anything anytime and if nothing much is going on he will entertain himself.
Excellent with kids, quickly adaptable, very friendly, curious but less investigatory then his older sister. Leaf is the perfect puppy for a busy family who want a wonderful therapy dog who is not going to get in the way or add stress to the household. If it was possible to personify happy-go-lucky it would be Leaf.
He’d make an amazing therapy dog especially for anyone who suffers from depression and/or anxiety.Unfazed by loud noises, always up for a cuddle and a kiss. Fully crate and toilet trained.

Beautiful Basil

Dark reddish golden curls like his mother with a gorgeous white blaze on his forehead, Basil is a beautiful boy.
Smaller in size and structure then most of his brothers, Basil is an independent, quick witted and clever boy.
He gets excited by meeting new people and is always eager to have a belly rub or sit prettily for a treat. As he’s been growing he’s developed a real love of cuddles and loves to curl up beside people(ideally on the couch) and nap.
His response to loud sudden sounds is to quickly identify the source, assess if it’s something to be concerned about and then promptly ignore it. This means he is well suited to a loud and boisterous household as he will be unfazed by it-although he may request extra belly rubs.
He loves to play tug, fetch and splash around in the pool-or water bowl.
would suit a family who want a smart, interactive dog who is self managing but always happy to see them and learn something new.
Fully crate and toilet trained.

Stunning Sage

This stunning golden tipped curly cream puppy is going to be a big boy! With a soft internal quietness that contrast many of his brother’s excitability, Sage love people but contains his joy and is happy to sit back patiently to await his turn-be it for food, treats, pats or cuddles. Curious and playful Sage is such a loving boy, always ready with a kiss or a calm muzzle rest.
Sage would be ideal for a neuro divergent individual or family with sensory issues, he is practically made to help anxious or stressed individuals ground themselves, from his soft gentle coat to his calm reassuring brown eyes. an ideal therapy or emotional support dog in the making.
Fully crate and toilet trained.

Delightful (and often devilish) Dill

This cheeky boy has mellowed a bit over the last few weeks as hes been learning patience (and that it will be rewarded),and boy does he learn fast!
Dill still loves to run around with his siblings or people, dig in the sandpit or pool and then rush over to show his love to anyone and everyone who comes by. As soon as he is picked up he likes to snuggle in and enjoy the cuddle.
Dill is curious and playful, but don’t let his pouncy energy mislead you-he learns fast, rarely makes the same mistake twice and adapts quickly to new situations. Dill would make a great companion to a medium-active family who like to go out for exercise and then curl up on the couch for cuddles, Netflix and chill.
Dill would also suit a busy family who enjoy taking their dog with them to outings and sporting evens where he can help cheer from the sidelines, he is independent enough to entertain himself when his people are busy but enjoys being able to check in with them and see if they would like to play or cuddle.
Fully crate and toilet trained.

Curious and clever Clover.

Roll over cute Clover! while we haven’t yet taught Clover this trick we know it wont take his new family long to teach him this and many much more.
Clover is small but clever. Not one to let the fact that he’s smaller then most of his brother prevent him from being where the action is.Clover is a very happy wiggly puppy but will more often then not work off the majority of his energy himself with play, zoomies or a good splash in the shell pool.
Like his brother Basil Clover loves a good belly rub and will happily sleep wherever he wants, usually wherever he’s just been playing or if it’s cooler, inside on a nice soft doggy bed.
Clover would suit a home with a family or individual who enjoys spending time everyday playing with him, teaching him new tricks, or just exploring new parks and places together. If left to his own devices Clover will always find a way to entertain himself,he likes his chew toys, chasing after balls and chewing on raw veggies.
Fully crate and toilet trained.

Gorgeous Gianni

Nicknamed after a lovely Belgium backpacker who was staying with us at the time of his birth Gianni is just as
quick and clever (bordering on cheeky) as his namesake. one of our smaller boys Gianni feels not a trace of “small dog syndrome” instead
possessing a ease and confidence in himself that is rare in dogs. He’s happy to take turns when playing, loves a good game of tug but doesn’t mid if someone else steels his toy. Gianni takes his joy where he finds it. Curious but calm, he takes things as they come but you can see
behind those clever eyes he is taking it all in and learning from everything going on around him.
Loves a good cuddle and a pat, Gianni would be a great dog for someone who wants a quick learning and adaptable dog who doesn’t need monitoring 24/7 but who is always us for a walk, play or training session. Unfazed by loud noises.Fully crate and toilet trained.

Optmistic Oaky-dokey.

We are not meant to have favorites in a litter, but Oakey is ours. Like a more golden version of his big brother Sage, Oakey is sweet, loving and the cuddly-est puppy you are ever likely
to meet. When lifted onto the couch for cuddles, rather then getting over excited and jumping all over us, Oakey nestled in beside us (on his back so he’d get belly rubs) and just licked our hands gently while looking up at us with those soft and loving eyes. No matter how bad your day (or the state of the world) is, it’s impossible not to feel better when Oakey-Dokey is nearby. whether he’s sitting quietly and looking up at you with his face filled with love, spread out beside you sharing cuddles and kisses, or gently resting his face or back on your feet as he naps. It would be a crime against nature NOT to home this boy with a family in need of a therapy or emotional support dog. He is loving, learns fast and brings a level of joyful contentment everywhere he goes.
Fully crate and toilet trained.

Greet our gorgeous,gallivanting, graceful Girls!

Pretty Poppy

Playful, people focused and eager to please, our first born puppy Poppy loves one on one play and training with people often preferring attention and praise over food treats.
She has a lovely gold highlighted cream coat which we expect will grow into a medium length single coated and low shedding golden retriever style.
Curious but cautious Poppy enjoys new experiences and objects but doesn’t rush in when presented with them, instead she carefully assesses new situations before deciding how best to respond.
She loves to retrieve, is unfazed by loud noises and is the perfect balance of independent and loving. No matter the time of day she is always happy to see you, even if she is tired or worn out, she is there with a happy tail wag and a kiss.
Would well suit a family or individual who is home a lot of the time as she likes being with people-even if it’s just in the same room as them.
Poppy is confident to go off and play both on her own and with others, is fully crate and toilet trained but prefers to sleep inside on her dog bed
rather then napping outside. She is interested rather then scared of new or loud noises. She would suit someone who enjoys teaching their dog new tricks or tasks to do. Fully crate and toilet trained.

Meet Mum and Dad!

Our mother this litter is the gorgeous red/gold Curly Golden retriever girl Ginger, with a beautiful temperament, even better health results (DNA and hip and elbow scores) our lovely Ginger has already proven herself a top notch mother having already whelped an outstanding litter of Curly Labrador’s last year.

Charismatic Kobe:

Our father this litter is the up and coming curly lion maned Purebred Golden retriever boy Kobe. Like Ginger he has excellent health results and the friendliest nature you’ll ever see. We met this stunning boy when he was out walking by our Hills property and it was love at first sight.

We expect great things from these pups with such remarkable parents.

Now our Casacanines are even better!

After years of research, feedback and tweaking we are pleased to announce that we are launching our Casacanines Puppy program.

“One third of Dogs have a behavior issue.”Companion Animal psychology Study, November 29, 2023. https://www.companionanimalpsychology.com/2023/11/one-third-of-dogs-have-behaviour-issue.html

“Behavior problems degrade the human-animal bond, placing pets at risk of neglect, abuse, relinquishment and euthanasia”- Behavior veterinarian Dr Elle Parker owner of Pawly Understood consulting veterinary clinic Adelaide SA. from Vet practice magazine April 19, 2022. https://www.vetpracticemag.com.au/behavioural-issues-in-dogs/

Behaviors don’t appear in a vacuum, they always start somewhere usually as a coping mechanism or learnt response to a situation and is usually formed during a critical developmental period.

Understanding how crucial the first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life is to their continued health and happiness we designed our early developmental program (modeled after ones used by Guide dogs, Lions hearing dogs, Canine Assist and the International Working dog registry’s) to give our puppies the best chance at living a healthy, happy life with their new families. We are proud to say that due to our extensive training, socialization and positive exposure program none of our puppies( even those raised during Covid) went on to develop behavioral issues.

“Pandemic puppy owners still struggling with their dog’s behavior” Survey by the Guardian, January 23rd 2024. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2024/jan/22/pandemic-puppy-owners-still-struggling-with-their-dogs-behaviour-survey-shows

Unfortunately once our puppies leave our care they at the mercy of an unregulated dog training industry where negative training methods are still practiced and well meaning owners were being influenced away from listening to their dogs and working together. It would be (another) full time job keeping up to date with the different dog trainers in our state alone, ensuring they are maintaining a high standard of care and are properly teaching dog owners to read and interpret their dog’s body language (rather then just calling all unwanted behavior “bad”).

Instead we have spent the last 3 years learning from animal behaviorists and positive reinforcement and force free dog trainers to create a easy to follow program to help our puppy owners train their own dogs.

with our help you will learn how to feed, groom and care for your puppy, teach it(and your family) the crucial foundations of obedience training (sit, stay, leave it,come, loose leach walking, fetch, touch, give, drop, wait) as well as the foundational knowledge necessary to help them catch, shape and develop their dog’s natural behaviors in order to teach it a wide range of tasks and tricks.

We know that puppies go through very specific developmental phases in their lives (just like humans) and both their self confidence and long term psychological health is determined by how they are treated in each of these stages. Exposure training is more then just playing some noises or shoving puppies at different objects and claiming the are “socialized”. Just like human children, puppies learn quickly and form memories (both good and bad) very easily when they are young.

The right stimulation at the right time (and for the right amount of time) is crucial to forming lifelong positive associations rather then phobia’s. Just as a child first learns to crawl before they can run marathons a dog isn’t born knowing how to interact calmly with other dogs or people. it’s a behavior that is built, brick by brick, interaction by interaction, slowly and carefully over time.

So now along with their extensive puppy pack, each of our puppies comes with a detailed training and raising program that covers Diet, age appropriate exercise, grooming, Basic obedience, puppy phases such as teething and continued toilet and crate training, all the way through puberty and the second fear phase. From Puppy hood through their first exciting year and on into adulthood.

Whether you are looking for a puppy to train up as a medical assistance dog, an emotional support and therapy dog for a special needs family member, or just want loving, healthy family pet (who already comes crate and toilet trained) who is going to live a long full life (without worrying about hip displasia, torn crucial ligaments or preventable genetic diseases) with you then please consider making your next canine a Casacanine
